Available at our kennels based in Penkridge. MEET HENRY Henry is a loyal and affectionate dog who thrives on routine and consistency. Henry is an active and driven dog who will need a home where he has plenty of things to do. He needs an experienced, adult-only home that can provide regular walks and mental stimulation through scent work and obedience training. Henry can be frightened of new people entering his space however, he’s friendly and non-reactive in neutral settings and on walks. Henry is very food-driven and picks up training quickly. Henry ended up in rescue due to resource guarding children and objects which he claimed as his own, but with training, he has made great progress. With those he trusts, Henry shows no resource guarding whatsoever. Henry is mouthy, especially when bored or excited, but this is not malicious – he just needs clear boundaries so he can understand he’s no longer a little puppy. Henry walks beautifully on a lead and is fully muzzle-trained for his safety, especially around unfamiliar men or in stressful situations like vet visits. Henry cannot be homed with children as he bonds strongly with certain people and may guard them. In the right adult home, Henry will be a loyal and loving dog. Henry has been in rescue for 12 months and is feeling sad and bored.
