Wyreside Lakes is a family-run business set on 120 acres of farmland at the foot of the Bowland Fells in Dolphinholme, Lancashire. The estate features six fishing lakes stocked with coarse fish and pike and offers scenic lakeside walks. Over 30 years, it has transformed into a popular destination for families, couples, and fishermen, offering a recreational centre with a bar, restaurant, and function room, plus camping and caravanning facilities. Additional amenities include a tackle shop, kids’ rooms, and modern wash facilities. The Fisherman’s Restaurant serves food on weekends, and the function room hosts events. The estate also offers various entertainment, and is ideally located near northern towns like Morecambe, Lancaster, and Blackpool, with plenty of nearby activities.

How They Help Us

Wyreside Lakes are proud Gold Paw Patrons of our charity, generously supporting three of our kennels. They are also home to our Lancaster branch, a smaller, specialised location dedicated to providing one-on-one care for dogs who need a little extra attention. Sally Hughes, a valued trustee of the charity, brings extensive knowledge in overseas rescue and offers invaluable advice and support.
