💙 MEET SIDNEY 💙

This fantastic lad is a 4 year old Cockerdor. We were called by our local vets and asked to help Sidney as his owners wanted him PTS. Sidney is a lock down dog and has lived happily with a family with children all of his life, however when another baby was introduced to the family, Sidney growled, so the family decided to rehome him. They were helped by a Facebook rescue and he was quickly placed with a family on Norfolk. After a 3 hour car journey, with people he didn’t know, introduced into a house with people he didn’t know and as it was Christmas, the family had lots of visitors. Sidney was obviously very scared and when a visitor held out his hand to Sidney, he snapped at him. Then over Christmas during a family meal, with more people he didn’t know, he got scared and snapped again. The family called the rescue involved but they wouldn’t help so they called the original family who he was returned to and then taken to the vets to end his life. 😪

In our rescue, Sidney is an absolute delight 😊 He loves to play ball, he loves a fuss and a belly rub. He hasn’t snapped at anyone, he just gives sloppy kisses. Sidney has never been in a kennel and he gets stressed, he would love a new cosy home. This gorgeous boy would need a calm home with people who had time to walk him, train him and most importantly play ball.
